MOVE OVER, ED SHEERAN.
Former Buckeye and current Chargers pass-rusher Joey Bosa is here to take a dump all over you as he will appear in the final season of the worldwide hit television show, Game Of Thrones, taking over the title of greatest celebrity cameo in the history of Westeros.
I have been jazzed up about this season ever since I watched GoT for the first time, like, two months ago and now I am all in on this season now that one of the greatest Ohio State Buckeyes of all-time will be making an appearance.
This news just broke about an hour or two ago and I have done nothing but think about what his role is going to be since then.
As much as I would love to see him sack the Night King off of his zombie dragon, Viserion, he’ll most likely be stuck in some lowly role as a Wildling or something like that. He’s way too big and buff to play a Lannister knight, in my opinion, but seeing Bosa as a Dothraki soldier would be incredible.
Could you imagine seeing Joey Bosa in the same frame as Jon Snow a.k.a. Aegon Targaryen a.k.a Deanerys’s nephew a.k.a. that sex scene at the end of Season 7 is incredibly creepy but everyone enjoyed it?
How about the Dothraki soldier angle where Bosa rides on horseback into battle against the White Walkers as Khaleesi rides overhead on her dragons, torching everything in Bosa’s path for him?
What if Cersei ends up losing the Game Of Thrones (which she totally will or I will be sending a strongly-worded email to George R.R. Martin) and Bosa is the executioner who gets to chop off her head and rid Westeros of the Lannister plague? (Except for Jaime. I think we can all agree that we all like Jaime… for now.)
It would be even crazier if, out of nowhere, he comes in and claims the Iron Throne as some long-lost Targaryen uncle to Daenerys or something and has a true claim to the throne (that one sounded really cool in my head, but I know that’s not going to be even remotely close for his character).
The possibilities for his cameo are endless, although I still think the Dothraki soldier role is most likely. He’s just too perfect for it.
Anyway, Bosa has been a very-well-documented fan of the show for a long time now, dating all the way back to his playing days at Ohio State, and this cameo couldn’t be more perfect for him.
If you’re looking for any bold predictions out of him for the final season, Bosa says he thinks either Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen will die in the final season, he told the L.A. Daily News.
All I know is that April 14th can’t come fast enough. #WinterIsComing
