COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ladies and gentlemen, Kaleb Wesson is back.
Ohio State head basketball coach Chris Holtmann announced on Monday that the team’s leading scorer and rebounder would be returning from his suspension just in time for the Big Ten Tournament.
Wesson was suspended on March 1st for an undisclosed violation of athletic department rules and missed the last three games of the regular season, all three games resulting in losses for the Buckeyes – an 86-51 loss at Purdue, a 68-50 loss at Northwestern and a 73-67 overtime home loss to Wisconsin for Senior Day this past Sunday.
Ohio State will start out their Big Ten Tournament play this Thursday, March 14th as the 8-seed and they will play 9-seed Indiana. Tip-off this Thursday is scheduled for 12:30pm ET and the game will be televised on Big Ten Network.
