Urban Meyer To Retire, Ryan Day To Be Named New Head Coach

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Breaking news coming from The Ohio State University this morning as the university announced in a press release this morning that head football coach Urban Meyer will be retiring after the Rose Bowl Game.

The university has also announced that offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Ryan Day will be taking over as head coach for Meyer.

Meyer will address the media today at 2pm ET to formally announce his retirement and then athletic director Gene Smith will officially introduce Ryan Day as the new head coach.
